The fire triangle
A fire requires three basic components – fuel, air and heat. To control the fire, at least one of them must be removed.
Fuel and heat can be removed in many ways. Fuel can be removed by the lighting of small controlled fires.n These remove the fuel ahead of the fire. Heat can also be removed. In most cases water is used to soak up the heat that is made by the fire. The heat turns water into steam, this is then robbing the fire of heat.
Air can be difficult to remove from the fire, The reason for this is because fires are normally in big and encompass considerable area. But It can be done.
